Meata Chanupatham Christan School, adjacent to Ban Meata Children's Village was commenced in May 2002 with 90 kindergarten children. Just nine years later (2011), the school has 1,500 students ranging from preschool through to high school.
This outstanding Christian school with its modern buildings is an educational centre highly regarded by the Thai government. This school caters for children from the Ban Meata Children's village as well as poor children living in the surrounding 19 villages. Although the school is privately run by Mercy International / House of Mercy Foundation the children pay no school fees.
The students mainly from disadvantaged families are receiving free transportation, one free uniform, a free hot lunch plus milk and other benefits along with an education in an atmosphere of God's love and mercy.
Meata Chanupatham Christian School is in the process of establishing Vocational training. Programs under consideration include Agriculture, Building/Carpentry, IT, Hospitality, and Administration.

The school has 60 dedicated teachers 20 staff members for cleaning, kitchen duties and cooking, grounds-men, night-watchman, plus 17 buses with one driver and an assistant to transport children to and from school.
