BAN MEATA CHILDREN’S VILLAGEPHRAE
THE NAME "BAN MEATA" LITERALLY MEANS:"A MERCY FILLED HOUSE OR VILLAGE"
Our vision is for a high quality children’s village on 15 acres of land 17 kms from the city centre. Four (4) children’s homes, dining/kitchen area, laundry facilities, first aid centre, volunteer accommodation and four (4) units for teams and visitors plus a beautifully well equipped swimming pool have already been completed.
This beautiful children’s village opened mid 2008 for HIV/AIDS orphans and babies who cannot be cared for by AIDS suffering mothers. Currently (mid 2009) the village is home to six toddlers.
Bringing hope and the love of God to AIDS victims
The Mercy International / House of Mercy Foundation dedicated team works in the Phrae local community with a focus on children and families impacted by HIV / AIDS.
This program includes practical support, assistance, friendship and encouragement to approximately 40 families. Kids Club and Let’s Go
